Project New Discoveries has been organising exchanges for many years with people from all around the world. Actually, some of the members of our association have also participated in various exchanges.

Between 2000 and 2009, our youngsters went to France, Norway, Poland, Egypt, Italy and Germany. We have already received a group of Italians in an exchange organised in Portugal by our association and we also were kindly aided by several foreign youngsters in our activities.

These exchanges are usually “sponsored” by EU programs or other associations such as ours. They are excellent opportunities for all those wishing to exchange life experiences during several days or even weeks, to enrich their knowledge on several subjects, to actively participate in the development of ideas and projects, and meeting new cultures, people and countries! In addition to the experience in itself, exchanges have the added benefit of costing significantly less than other similar trips.

Useful Informations:

Local:
It depends of the existing programs. However, they´re more frequent in the summer.

Age Groups:
There are specific exchanges targeted at different age groups, but usually they are organised for people between 16 and 40 years of age.

Needed Material:
Comfortable clothes. You might need specific material for each exchange/activity. We will inform you during your registration.

Support:
Youngsters are entitled to Accommodation, Food and Personal Accident Insurance during exchanges. But, as mentioned above, it will depend on where you are traveling to and of the exchange / activity itself.

Important Note:
Expense costs for travelling to and from the exchanges are not PND’s responsibility and will not be sponsored in any way.
